The shaft is made out of durable 1/2 inch steel pipe. There is also a speed control with a 6ft cord. 2 speeds are available, slow (40 rpm's) and fast (80rpm's). You easily can adjust the stroke from 2 inches, 4 inches and 6 inches with a flat head screwdriver and a pair of common pliers. The 2 inch gives a nice short fuck, while 6 inches is a really long fuck. The default stroke is set at 6 inches .
